I heard this a few days ago, I think it was Mark Hart who originally posted it & today STILL it grips me.
God will put someone in your path today who doesn’t necessarily need you…
but who desperately needs Christ in you.
This is huge.
Let’s ponder this.
That doesn’t need ME but DESPERATELY needs CHRIST in me?
Pray with me for a moment…
Lord, I beg of you the grace to recognize the needs in those that I encounter today. Help me to decrease in such a way that it is no longer me that they see but You in me. Help me to See with your eyes, Serve with your hands and most importantly to Love with your heart.
I ask all of this through your most Blessed Mother as I pray,
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Pious Posers. We're all called to be Holy. We're trying to be holy and pious (in the good sense of the word), but we're human and we stumble along the way. The times we aren't 'making it' spiritually and/or going through the motions, we're posing! (Which is more times than not!) We're just not afraid to admit it! Pious: 1. having or showing a dutiful spirit of reverence for god or an earnest wish to fulfill religious obligations. 2. characterized by a hypocritical concern with virtue or religious devotion; sanctimonious. 3. practiced or used in the name of real or pretended religious motives, or for some ostensibly good object; falsely earnest or sincere: a pious deception. Poser: 1. someone who pretends to belong to a group only by affecting the attributes of the group. Make Sense? Sound Familiar? We're two guys, trying to live out our Catholic faith the best we can, but aren't scared to admit we fail! ... and fail often! But, we're all on a journey toward God, and we are here to help you along yours as well!
